About Mother of Good Counsel

The Mother of Good Counsel image is an image of the Blessed Virgin with the Child Jesus. According to the story, on the feast of St. Mark, 1467, The people in the town of Genezzano, just outside Rome, were gathered in the square when a cloud came to rest over a wall of a broken-down church. The cloud revealed a fresco of the Blessed Virgin, suspended in the air. Numerous miracles are attached to Our Lady's intercession through this image.
In 1903, Pope Leo XIII added the title "Mother of Good Counsel" to the Litany of Loreto.
